Privacy notice

This notice explains what we collect when you join the xEdge waitlist at xedge.live, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. You can contact us about your data at info@xedge.live.
What we collect
- Your email address. It’s the only thing we ask for.
- Your referral details: your own referral code, and the code of the friend who invited you, if any.
- Your answer to “What would you pay a month?”, if you choose to give one.
- Where you came from: the campaign tags in the link you used (UTM values, such as “instagram”) and the page you landed on.
- A hashed version of your IP address and device details. We turn them into a scrambled code (a salted SHA-256 hash) before storing them, and we never store your actual IP address. We only use these codes to spot people referring themselves.
- Email records: when we sent you an email and whether it was delivered.
- Anonymous page events, such as “someone used the margin checker”. These aren’t linked to you or to your email address.
The margin checker runs only in your browser. The odds you type in are never sent to us.
Why we use it, and the lawful basis

We only send the emails listed above. We don’t sell your details, and we don’t share them with anyone except the services that help us run the waitlist (listed below).
No cookies
This site doesn’t set cookies or use your browser’s storage. Your referral code travels in the link itself. Our page statistics come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies.
How long we keep it
- Your email, referral details and price answer: until 12 months after xEdge launches, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever is sooner.
- Hashed IP and device codes: 30 days.
- Records of sign-up attempts, used to limit how often one connection can sign up: 1 day.
- If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you straight away. We keep your email address only to make sure we don’t email you again, unless you ask us to delete it.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase stores the waitlist, in its London data centre.
- Resend sends our emails. Resend is based in the United States. Transfers there are covered by the UK’s approved safeguards for international transfers.
- Cloudflare hosts the site, runs Turnstile (the check that tells people from bots, which sees your IP address and browser details) and provides our cookie-free page statistics.
- Namecheap forwards emails you send to info@xedge.live to our inbox, which Google hosts.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or stop or limit how we use it. You can also ask for it in a format you can take elsewhere, and you can withdraw your consent to emails at any time. Email info@xedge.live and we’ll reply within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
18+ only
The waitlist is for people aged 18 or over. If we learn that someone under 18 has joined, we’ll delete their details.
Changes
If we change this notice, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email address, we’ll tell you by email first.
